MRS. MAUD EWING RITES ON MONDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Maud Ewing, 65, wife of Dr. Fred Ewing, local physician and surgeon and Oakland resident for 24 years, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue.
Mrs. Ewing, an active church worker before a heart ailment forced her into semi-retirement, died Thursday at her home, 6106 Ocean View Drive. She formerly was a member of the Berkeley Women's City Club.
Survivors beside her husband are: a daughter, Louise C. Ewing, at home, and three brothers, Dr. Arthur N. Orcutt of 141 Florence Avenue, Dr. Dwight C. Orcutt of Chicago and Albert W. Orcutt of Long Beach.
