Andrew Lee "Andy" Monce, 40, of Lagro, Indiana, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at around 3:00AM at his home. He was born December 17, 1966 in Wabash, Indiana to William A. and Dorothy Marie (Armstrong) Monce.
Andy was a 1985 graduate of Northfield High school. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion in Lagro and the Wabash Eagles Lodge. He worked at Dexter Axel in North Manchester. He loved to hunt and fish, and spend time with his nieces and nephew.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Marie Monce of Lagro; two brothers, Jeffery (Carolyn) Monce of Wabash and James (Julie) Monce of Lagro; seven nieces, Kelli Monce of Ithaca, New York, Tracy Monce and Ellen Monce, both of Wabash, Brooke Sommers of Huntington, Jamie (Cody) Mills of Wabash, and Emily Rife and Callie Monce, both of Lagro; and his nephew, Remington Monce of Lagro. He was preceded in death by his father, on November 30, 2006, a brother, John Allen Monce, who died in 1960, and a sister, Jennifer Marie Monce, who died in 1957.
Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 10:30AM with Guy Provance officiating. #Burial will be at Lagro Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8PM, Wednesday, January 3 at the funeral home. Preferred memorial is Lagro United Methodist Kids Club.
