Mr. Barna was born on Apr.
16, 1917, in Yonkers, a son of
Andrew and Paraska Barna,
and was married on Dec. 22,
1951.
Mr. Barna, a locker room attendant
for the Quaker Ridge
Golf Club in Scarsdale, attended
schools here and was a gradu
ate of Commerce High School
He was a corporal during World
War 2 and served in Hawaii.
He was also a member of the
Hollow Athletic Club and of the
Lockermen's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Britta,
his mother, Mrs. Paraska Eshtwan;
two daughters, Diane and
Janet of Yonkers; and three
brothers, Joseph, Nicholas and
George,
