Mary was the daughter of Thomas Faxon and Mary Blanchard of Braintree, Mass. She was married there on 7 May 1707 to Joseph Dean, the son of John and Sarah Dean of Dedham, Mass. Mary died at an early age, after which Joseph m. (2) Boston 25 May 1721 Prudence SAUNDERS, but they were both dead within seven months of their marriage, leaving his children, aged 3 to 13, as orphans.
