Russell C. Dickinson, born 17 Dec 1909 in Portland, Colorado to Roy Vene Dickinson (1873-1928) and Pearl May Starks (1875-1953). He was the third of four children: Mary "Leslie" (Dickinson) SWANN (1903-1966), Jean (Dickinson) PHELPS (1907-1992) and Roy Garth Dickinson (1919-1978). He joined the military 3 Nov 1931 and was released 28 Feb 1958 after serving 25 years. He married Margaret Theresa NEEF (born 1909) on 17 Oct 1931 in Tribune, Kansas and had two sons, Richard V. and Donald. Russell died 29 Feb 1980 in Los Angeles, California. His wife died 22 Sep 1993.
