Frank Robert Morgan, born May 24, 1933 in Rochester, NY, passed away on Nov. 11, 2016 (Veterans Day). Frank is preceded in death by his son, Frank O. Morgan; survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marlene; children, Michele Ciani (Michael), Robert (Corinne); daughter-in-law Gloria Morgan; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips (Lynn), Frank R. Morgan (Carrie), Amanda Thompson (Andy), Courtney Rush (Jonathan), Nicholas Morgan (Autumn), Jonathon Ciani (Louise); and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a Korean War veteran who also served in Augsburg, Germany where he met and married the "love of his life." He enjoyed a 30-year career as a mail carrier and retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1992. Frank enjoyed golf, puzzles, whistling, singing, watching birds and spending time with his family. Frank was a quiet man who possessed a deep faith and demonstrated great integrity and character in every facet of his life. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who always provided for his family and will be dearly missed. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21 at 12:30pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley .
