Obituary Rebecca Ann Moody of Quapaw, OK passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home. She was 61. Rebecca was born July 24, 1954 in Burlington,Iowa to John Ivan and Wanda (Singleton) Peck. She had lived in the Quapaw and Picher area for several years and was a member of the Spring River Indian Baptist Church, SE of Quapaw, OK. Survivors include her husband James Moody of the home, a son Jason Dale Stites of Nevada, MO, 2 daughters Melissa Renee Huegel of Miami, OK and Angela Ann Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, 1 brother Gerald Peck of Dumfries , Virginia and 2 sisters, Brenda Closser of Sedalia, MO and Linda Johnson of Jacksonville, FL. 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Stephen Daugherty will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, east of Chetopa, KS. Pallbearers will be Donald Hilldebrand, Jim Scott, Doug Scott, Joe Peters, Bobby Hooper and Jimmy Jones and Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Latty. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday before the service at the funeral home.
