A native of San Antonio, TX, she was the daughter of Mary Altringer Wright and the late Charles Wright, served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Medium Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Dixie (Travis) Floyd of Shelbyville; son Kenneth Scheller of Manchester; grandchildren Cheyenne Vickers, Trinity Vickers, K.C. Vickers, Lucian Floyd and Neveah Floyd; sisters Barbara Jane Mitchell of Giles County, Betty Pogue and Mary Heatherly of Flintville; brothers John Wright, Tommie Wright, and William Wright all of Fayetteville, and Norman Wright of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 470 Fayetteville, TN. Or Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
