William Joseph Cronin, 85, passed away November 11, 2016. Williams was an airborne ranger and a Command Sergeant Major for 30 years in the Unites States Army. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Janet Cronin, two sons, William Joseph Cronin II and his wife Diane and Charles Michael Smith, one daughter; Patricia Ruth Hlanek and husband Steven, six grandchildren; Chad and Jane Smith, Sean and Tyler Hlanek, Jessica and Ryan Cronin along with six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services are Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of American Heritage Funeral Home, Houston, TX.
