Raymond Breda, 86, of Brier, WA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family's love, on December 21, 2015.

He was born in Seattle, WA on March 21, 1929 and attended Ballard High School. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He worked many years for Graystone Concrete Products, then Mutual Materials until his retirement in 1991. After retirement, he became "Mr. Fix-it" for family and friends and helped with his wife's Kidswim business.

He and his loving wife, Joan, were married 62 years. They have 3 children, Beverly Stewart (Jeff) of Shoreline, WA, Steven Breda (Michelle) of Bothell, WA, and Kenneth Breda (Silvia) of Lynnwood, WA. They have eight grandchildren and two great grandsons.

Ray was a 50-year member and Honorary Past Master of Greenwood Lodge #253, F. and A.M. and a 50-year member and Past Patron of Greenwood Chapter #196, O.E.S. They belonged to the Totem Travelers Masonic Camping Club.

While his children were growing up he served as Cubmaster of Pack 122 and as a Little League baseball coach for Greenwood Boys Club.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Greenwood Masonic Center, 7910 Greenwood Ave N.,

Seattle (Park at St. Johns Church on 80th Street). Memorials may be made to Hospice or the American Cancer Society .
