Alma Marjorie Finefrock, 82, formerly of Shippenville, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at the Clarview Nursing Home, Sligo.

Born Oct. 19, 1921, she was the daughter of William E. and Hilda Hackbarth Craig.

Mrs. Finefrock was active in her church, serving as pianist at the Shamburg and Manor United Methodist churches. She was also an involved member of the Murphy Grange.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, canning and cooking meals for her family.

Mrs. Finefrock was married April 24, 1943, to Jay W. Finefrock, who survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Nancy Campbell and her husband, Butch, of Clarion; five grandchildren, Bradley Knight and his wife, Julie, of Knox, Scott Knight and his fiancee, Cindy Williams, and Patrick Knight and his wife, Beverley, of Orlando, Fla., Kyle Campbell of Monroeville and Kari Campbell of Clarion; a great-granddaughter, Anna Knight of Orlando; and two sisters, Kathryn Ashbaugh and Joanne Wolfgong.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Finefrock; six brothers, Ray, Charles, Dean, Jay, William and Earl Craig; and two sisters, Elaine Ketner and Vivian Craig.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Burns Funeral Home, Clarion, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Manor United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Manor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clara Belloit and Pastor Kirk Orr officiating.

Interment will be in Sligo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Manor United Methodist Church or the Clarion-Forest VNA.
