Dennis Lee, 67, of Effingham, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, St Peter, Illinois, with one hour viewing prior to service. Rev. William Emrick will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois. Dennis was born on May 27, 1949, in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Charles and Arlene (Magnus) Lee. He graduated from Farina LaGrove High School in 1967. In 1969, he graduated from the United Electronics College in Louisville, Kentucky. His working career was with AT&T in Manchester, Missouri.
In May of 2013, he relocated to Effingham, Illinois. He was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, Illinois and an avid cardinal fan.
He is survived by his mother, Arlene Lee of St. Peter, Illinois; brother, Jerry Lee (wife Twila) of Altamont, Illinois; three nephews, Joey, Chet and Jared Lee; and one niece, Nicholle.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee.
