Frankie was born on May 1948 to Frank and Annie Radford in Chester,SC. She moved to NJ in 1965,where she has resided for over 51 years. Over her career she has worked for multiple companies but of most importance is her employment with the Jewish Family Services Agency for over 18 years and the Heart
Center of the Oranges where she was employed for over 10 years. In her earlier years, she also worked as a barmaid for the Devil’s Hideaway in Newark NJ.
Frankie was a quiet, yet fun person; she enjoyed time with her family and friends and traveling.Her hobbies were reading, knitting. cooking, baking, crossword puzzles,and playing on her kindle. In her adult life, she gave her life to Christ and served as an usher at the First Baptist Church of South Orange.
Frankie is survived by her daughter Monica (Manfred)Reichwein of College Park,MD; two granddaughters Francina (John) Griffith of New Brunswick, NJ and Arielle (Rasheed Johnson) Holmes of Newark, NJ; four great-grandchildren, Aiden Johnson, London Griffith,Noble Griffith and Elon Griffith; her loving and devoted Aunt Carole Jackson and her "Scooter" Mary Ann Jackson of Newark, NJ; her siblings, Phillip Radford of Chester, SC, Terry (Sarah) Radford of Chester,SC, Carl Radford of Chester, SC , and Beverly (Rev. Samuel) Crosby of Calera, AL. She also leaves behind a host of’ aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins,and friends.
