Funeral services were held Friday, September 23 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Austin for Russell J. Lunde of Austin. Rev. Carl Borgwardt officiated. Interment was at Little Cedar Cemetery, Adams.
Russell Lunde and his wife Ruth were vacationing in California when Russell was struck by a car. He died at Eureka Hospital following injuries.
Lunde, 76, was retired accountant for the Mower County Highway Dept. He was a former resident of Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a son, Richard A. Lunde, Austin; a sister, Ida Lunde, Austin.
