Knut L. Larson, son of Lars and Unnie Knutson was born in Sogn, Norway, November 22, 1861.
He passed away at his home in Taopi, Wednesday morning, March 13, at 1 o'clock a.m. at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 22 days.
He came to America at the age of 4 years and has been a resident of Adams for the past 75 years residing on his farm 2 miles north east of Adams.
Mr. Larson was one of the early pioneers who, with his parents, braved the many hardships of pioneer life. He was a devoted son and helped in caring for his aged parents. He has been a member of Little Cedar congregation for a period of 70 years, being confirmed in the old log church which was located where the cemetery lot is, 2 miles west of Adams.
On March 25, 1914 he was united in marriage to Clara Nelson and this union was blessed with three children, two sons, Lloyd and Donald and one daughter, Dorothy.
His parents, two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and three children, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Mr. Larson has been suffering with old age infirmities for a number of years.
Was single and living with his mother in the 1910 census. Married Clara on March 25, 1914.
From the Adams Funeral Service card: Services were held at Little Cedar Lutheran Church on March 16, at 1:30 PM, Rev. Alfred Breivik officiating. Pallbearers were Severin Knutson, Nordeen Lewison, Nordeen Rudlong, Olie Underdahl, William Winkel, Ray Wood.
