She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. The main joy in her life was caring for her husband and enjoying her family. Freda cherished her home and was very blessed and thankful and had a very fulfilled life. She was a great "COOK" (cooking from scratch), baking and even making "homemade bread and buns" every week.
Mrs. Fox is survived by her children, Gayle Watson Guard and her husband, Don, of South Connellsville, Russ Watson and his wife, Vicky, of Parrish, Fla., Marlene Watson Haggerty and her husband, Jack, of Burns, Tenn., and Linda Watson Jones and her husband, Barry, of Amherst, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs.
Fox was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, 1st Lt. Russell Watson; her second husband, Thomas Fox Jr.; her sisters, Lillian Rae Beattie, Nell Bryson, Ruby Cable (her twin) and Bessie Watson; and her brothers, Arnold and Herbert Humphreys.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Barry Witt officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
