Mrs. McDonald was born on April 4, 1917, in New York, New York. She was a faithful member of Harvest Cathedral Church where she never missed a Sunday service. She was a former member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Jennie was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, grandmother and fabulous homemaker. She was a member of AARP. Her loving husband of fifty one years, Donald L. McDonald, and her parents, John and Amelia Barinka Parniak, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Donna Jean Hughes (John), Augusta, GA; Dorothy Claire Walker (Neil), Merritt Island, FL; Darlene Carol Toler (Tommy), Gordon, GA; Debra May Forman (Larry), Ellenton, FL; Doris O. Howdeshell (Frank), Fort Valley, GA; Diane Amelia McDonald, Gordon, GA; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Harvest Cathedral Church % of New Horizon Bldg. Fund 2254 Rocky Creek Road Macon, GA 31206.
