Eloise Cheatham Lee of Houston was a fervent bridge player, a self-appointed neighborhood monitor, and an avid world traveler. On October 22, 2016, at the tender age of 93, she joined her husband, Jesse, in heaven. During their 58 years of marriage, they raised two children, Suzanne Lee Brooks and William Timothy Lee.
Eloise was a steadfast member of Bethany Christian Church for over six decades. Additionally, "Ouisie" took great delight in attending the David Weekley YMCA most weekdays for exercise, bridge games, and fellowship.
Family and friends will celebrate her life at a private service at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church. Her son-in-law, The Rev. William Brooks, will officiate along with The Rev. Neil Willard. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian Church or Archway Academy at Palmer Church.
