WINNFIELD, La. -- Mrs. Argie Mae Creel, 61, of Winnfield died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Winnfield, General Hospital following a long illness.
Survivors are her husband, Dewey N. Creel of Winnfield; a son, Franklin M. Creel of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Rowe of Shreveport and Mrs. Carl Nugent of Winnfield; her mother, Mrs. B. M. Gilcrease of Winnfield, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Southern Funeral Home chapel, with Revs. John Holtzclaw and Wilmer Jordan officiating. Burial was to be in Garden of Memories cemetery.
