Laura Ann Holmes, 53, went to be with our Lord at the Hospice Inn. The daughter of Rosa (Johnson) Holmes and the late Joseph Holmes, Laura was a lifelong resident of Troy. Laura worked for a time for Price Chopper Supermarket and she was employed by New York State in the Department of Tax and Finance.
Laura was a good natured person, who would do anything for anyone. She was loved by all who met her and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her mother, Laura is survived by her brother Anthony Holmes; her aunts: Lillie (Clarence) Lomax, Joann Davis and Jean (Jerome) Green; her uncles: Casey Johnson, Weldon Johnson and Rubin (Shirley) Johnson and several cousins and friends.
