Mary Mildred Burk, 89, formerly of Cass City, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Regency Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Utica.
She was born July 10, 1927 in Center Line to Clinton and Iva (Scribner) Johns.
She married Alfred C. Burk April 5, 1947 in Cass City.
Mary and Alfred loved to travel and camp with other members of trailer clubs. They bowled together in church leagues. Mary enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She was happiest spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children: Alfred L. (Sue) Burk of Ubly, Robert C. (Linda) Burk of Sterling Heights and Loretta Webster of Washington; grandchildren: Tiffany (Kevin) Jacobson, Kimberlee Galazka, Aaron (Lisa) Burk, Matthew Galazka and Kelly Sontag; great-grandchildren: Michael Burk, Michelle Sontag and Olivia Galazka.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Frances Brookins, Viola Burk and LaBonnie David.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, November 18, in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City with Sam Leppert, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating.
