William T Baker, 61, of 26 W. 39th St., died yesterday in Delaware Hospital after a brief illness. He was president of Baker Motors, Inc., 41st & Market Sts., and a used car dealer and has been in the automobile business since 1930.

Born in Laurel, Mr. Baker has lived in the Wilmington area most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gladys Marie Baker; a son, C. Eugene of Fairfax, who was in the business with his father; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Smallwood of Wilmington; three grandchildren; a brother, Paul E., of Folcorft, PA., and a sister Mrs. Willard E. Miller of Wilmington.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington St. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday night after 7.
