She is survived by her brother and sister, Mike Simmons of North Little Rock, AR., and Janis Gartman and husband Bud of Deer Park, TX; by her nephew, Ben Gartman of Deer Park, TX; by her great-niece, Lydia Gartman of Willis, TX; by her aunts and uncles, Melba Nation of West Orange, TX, Pat Brister of Deweyville, TX, Joy Lummus of Deweyville, TX, Elaine Hanner and husband John of Deweyville, TX, Tommy Spears and wife Estelle of Deweyville, TX, also by numerous cousins, family and friends; and also by her best friend, Lisa McDaniel, of The Woodlands, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her grandparents, Scriv and Eulice Simmons, and Nolan and Grace Spears.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service time of 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, in Pearland, Texas.
