Kenneth Frank Potter, Senior Master Sergeant U.S. Air Force (Ret) of San Antonio, Texas passed away in Boerne, Texas on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at the age of 93 years. He was born July 21st, 1923 in Rew, Pennsylvania, the son of Floyd Potter, Sr. and Edna Reese Crandell, he married Margaret Helen Jost July 4th, 1945 in Biloxi, Mississippi, served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and later in the United States Air Force from which he retired on July 31st, 1964, having served in WW II, Korea, the early days of Vietnam, retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, E-8.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, two brothers, Floyd, Jr. and Claude Potter, father & mother in law, Rev. Walter & Elsa Immel Jost.

Kenneth is survived by the following, eight sisters & brothers in laws & spouses, Theresa Potter of Louisville, Kentucky, Louise Yampolsky of Boerne, Wallace & Laura Jost of Burleson, Texas, Marilyn Brinkworth of Wildomar, California, Royce Jost of San Antonio, Joyce Harczo of Washougal, Washington, Ruth & Lawrence Klemstein of Comfort, Texas and Jeanette “Jeanie” Bobbie Biermann of Comfort. Also he is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.


Preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaretta, two brothers, Floyd, Jr. and Claude Potter, father & mother in law, Rev. Walter & Elsa Immel Jost.

Kenneth is survived by the following, eight sisters & brothers in laws & spouses, Theresa Potter of Louisville, Kentucky, Louise Yampolsky of Boerne, Wallace & Laura Jost of Burleson, Texas, Marilyn Brinkworth of Wildomar, California, Royce Jost of San Antonio, Joyce Harczo of Washougal, Washington, Ruth & Lawrence Klemstein of Comfort, Texas and Jeanette “Jeanie” Bobbie Biermann of Comfort.

Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Texas, with Rev. J.V. Foster officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks one make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors.
