She was born January 12, 1941 in Ottumwa to Carroll H. and Viola M. Saylor Rolison. She married Ronald J. Ferguson on July 20, 1958 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2010.
A 1959 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Sherrie was a volunteer for the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.
Surviving is her daughter, Dana Brown of Des Moines; three grandchildren, Alex Hunter, Taylor Brown and Carter Brown; son-in-law, Chris Hunter of Ottumwa; and a brother, Jack Rolison of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Bryan Ferguson.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial graveside services and inurnment will be 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Scot Warder officiating.
