Mrs. Minnie Boyte Jackson, 84, died Thursday, November 10, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Susan Wight officiating. Interment will follow Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday, November 11, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC.
Mrs. Jackson was born July 22, 1932 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late William Oscar Boyte and Mildred Lynn Boyte. She attended the schools of Great Falls and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jackson was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by one son, Clyde Jackson (Vivian) of Mt. Holly, NC; one daughter, Judy Jackson of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Jessica Jackson of Mt. Holly, NC, Amy Anderson (Nate) of Leland, NC, Matthew Klim and Ashlynn Klim both of Knoxville, TN; and one sister, Peggy Roberts (Larry) of Mauldin, SC. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband of more than 65 years, William Warren Jackson and one son, Tommy Jackson.
