Wife of John Henry Harmon, daughter of Robert S Mullemberg and Betty L Over Turf.

Caroline Kay Harmon, 59, of Lodge Grass, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born Oct. 16, 1951, in Crow Agency, a daughter of Robert S. and Betty Overturf Mullenberg. She grew up and received her education in Lodge Grass, graduating with the class of 1970. During her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and attending powwows.

Caroline was united in marriage with John Harmon on May 1, 1991, in Sheridan, Wyo. The couple made their home in Lodge Grass. She enjoyed playing the guitar, beadwork and knitting.

She worked for 15 years as a teachers' aide in the Lodge Grass school system. She was a member of the Whistling Water Clan.

Her father, grandparents and two nephews preceded Caroline in death.

Survivors include her husband John; her sons, Steven Mullenberg, John Harmon II and Carey Harmon III; her mother, Betty Mullenberg; her sisters, Danelle (Gus) Old Bear, Shirley (Richard) Morin, Shelly Reiter and Amanda Mullenberg; her brothers, Roger (Eva), Wesley, Ronald (Lynn) and Richard Mullenberg Sr.; her adopted children, Dakota Patterson, Gus Old Bear III, Jody Brien, Rona Gardner, Cameron Gutierrez, John and Destiney Lion Shows; her best friends, Lionell Lion Shows and Victoria Falls Down; numerous nieces and nephews; as and well as her extended family including the Mullenberg, Howe, Boggess, Eastman, Overturf, Davis, Old Bear, Moccasin, Plenty Hawk, Morrison, Plain Feather, Lion Shows, Bird in Ground, Brien and Yarlott families. If we have missed you, please accept our apology.

We wish to extend a special thank you to Becky Mullenberg, who assisted Caroline faithfully as her nurse.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, in the Lodge Grass First Crow Indian Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Lodge Grass Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
