Norma Louise Jennings, 86 years, 8 months, 18 days old, went to her Heavenly Home on November 9, 2016 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, MO with her family by her side.

Louise was born to Ted Chester Mitchell and Octie Jane (Jenkins) Mitchell on February 22, 1930 in Taney County, MO.

Louise was a wonderful homemaker and minister. On November 28, 1947, Louise and Lloyd “Yoke” Jennings were united in marriage in Harrison, AR and to this union two daughters, Linda and Becky, were born.

Louise was saved and baptised, December 1949 at the age of 19. She preached her first sermon at Bethel Church in September 1954. She was ordained to preach, September 11, 1958 at White River Association. Louise was a member of Caney General Baptist Church.

Louise enjoyed reading the bible, going to church, gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved spending time with her church family, her family and her friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd “Yoke”, four sister, infant, Lucille Mitchell, Evelyn Waymire, Patsy Agee, and infant, Goldie Mitchell, two nephews, Johnnie Agee and Rick Waymire, three brother-in-laws, John Agee, Howard Ellison and Jerry Waymire and a son-in-law, Lonnie Combs.

Louise is survived by her two daughters, Linda Combs and Becky Cummings and son-in-law, Randall Cummings all of Brown Branch, Missouri; five grandchildren, Shelly and Nathan Lacher, Stacey and Shannon Beeler, Justin and Nikki Combs, Marlana and David Byrne and Mitch and Taylor Cummings; nine great-grandchildren, Steven and Bryce Beeler, Shelby and Easton Byrne, Paitin, Seth and Lydia Combs, Lucas Lacher, and McKenzie Cummings; five siblings, Barbara Ellison, Howard Mitchell, Roger Mitchell, Gary Mitchell and Sharon Rush; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Louise will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Danny Hill, Mike Comstock and Rev. Freeda Holt.

Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International or Bethel Cemetery.
