Sandy S. Johnson, 38, of Garrett, died November 6, 2016 at home. Born December 5, 1977 in Meyersdale. She is the daughter of the late Sheldon Charles King and Joann (Warrick) Sarver, Friedens. Also preceded in death by her stepfather, James Sarver.

Also survived by her husband of 10 years, James; children: Catherine and Jackson, at home; sisters: Sherri Trowbridge and husband Kevin; and Rose King and Albert Landis III. She is also survived by her stepmother, Joyce King, Rockwood and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy is a graduate of Rockwood High School and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Sandy attended Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, and was a member of B.P.O.E. #1951, Meyersdale and the Meyersdale Elementary Educational Boosters. She was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Randy Haulk officiating. Interment King Big Apple Family Cemetery, Markleton. Arrangements by Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale.
