Apr. 4, 1983 - Oct. 29, 2016 Jason Allen Cox, 33, of Big Point, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Jason was born April 4, 1983 in Pascagoula, MS.
He was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a smile that would light up a room. Jason was passionate about Ole Miss football. He enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, and being with friends and family. But most importantly, he loved spending time with his two beautiful children. Jason was a pipefitter for Zachry Industrial at Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula. He will be greatly missed as a daddy, son, brother, and friend.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Allen Cox, and his maternal grandparents, Charles Earl and Joyce George, aka Bubba Pawpaw and Bubba Mawmaw.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his parents, Lynette and George White; brother, Garret White; children, Hayden and Madyson Cox; the mother of his children, Lindsay Cox; paternal grandparents, George and Faye Cox, aka Wewa Pawpaw and Wewa Mawmaw; his precious girlfriend, Donyce Dailey; close cousin, Tiffani Moorman Lucas; lifelong friend, Ladd Burroughs; along with a host of many other cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS.
Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point, MS. Pallbearers will be Ladd Burroughs, Luke Couch, Matt Buchanan, Brad Moorman, Rocky Traylor, and Jimbo Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be his brother, Garret White and his son, Hayden Cox.
