Lewis Herman Harris, 85, of Danville, November 8, 2016 at his residence. Born June 30, 1931 in Danville, he was the son of Wister Bennett and Lobellia Carter Harris. He was married to the late Regenia Davis Harris.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Tucker (Willie); four sons, Garry Harris (Janice), Herman Wade Harris (Paula), Barry Harris and Keith Harris; four sisters, Olivia Fuller, Shirley Fitz, Joan Watson and Bernell Johnson; four brothers, James Bennett, John Bennett, Charles Bennett and Ira Bennett. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Lola Baker, Frances Gunn and Rev. Lee Murriell Saunders; one brother, Milton Harris.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
