Sara Edna Bone Ray, 56, wife of Don M. Ray, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Tideland Community Hospice House in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Mrs. Ray was born May 15, 1960, in Georgetown, a daughter of the Norma Jean Mercer and the late Robert Jimmy Bone, Sr.

She was survived by her husband; her mother; three sons, Jody (Ashley) Elliott, Melvin Anthony (Britney) Elliott and Bradley (Deanna) Ray, all of Georgetown; four sisters, Terry Sue Bone of Socastee, Andrea Bone Floyd, Kathy (Richard) Lambert and Debra Morris, all of Georgetown; two brothers, Robert Jimmy (Roxana) Bone Jr. and Lloyd Allen Bradley (Julie) Bone, both of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were Thursday, November 10, 2016, in The Christian Fortress. The Rev. Geraldine Bednigo officiated. Burial follow in Ivy Cemetery.

Mayer Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
