Ray was of the Baptist faith. He was the owner operator of Ray Lambert Auctions and a Real Estate Developer for over 40 years. He was a licensed auctioneer in Virginia, Louisiana and North Carolina.
Ray is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda Hunt Lambert of the home; a son, Glenn R. Lambert of Axton; two daughters, Patricia Green of Carencro, La. and Bobbie Jo Seamster of Axton; two brothers, Cardis Lambert Jr. of Shreveport, La. and Curtis E. Lambert of Denham Springs, La.; two sisters, Mary Beaumont of Batesville, Ark. and Betty Morace of Walker, La.;, seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Preacher James Cole officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from Noon to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn before the service.
