He was a lifelong farmer, retired from J.P. Industries, and a member of Dandridge First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by son, John Steve Pratt; and parents, Richard and Martha Pratt.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Spoon Pratt; daughter, Susan Chambers (Chris); daughter-in-law, Iris Pratt Trent; grandchildren, Jason Chambers (Carrie), Adam Chambers, Katie Pratt, and Noah Pratt; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Chambers.
Funeral service will be held at New Market Baptist Church. Family will receive friends Friday, November 11 from 5-7 with service immediately following. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 on Saturday, November 12 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
