Dorothy (Dottie) Malone, age 93, of Bristol, VA passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at her home.
She was born in Washington County, VA to the late Moody and Bessie Counts Davenport.
She attended Three Springs Union on Reedy Creek Road.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Christine Henderson and Nellie Morris and one brother, Edmond Davenport.
Survivors include her husband, Harold A. Malone; son, Allen Malone and wife, Debbie of Bristol, TN; granddaughter, Jessicca Frye and husband, Allen and their daughters, Makayla and Paige Frye, all of Bluff City, TN; granddaughter, Missy Owens and husband, Richard and their son, Adam Smith, all of Bristol, TN; grandson, Robbie Baines of Bristol, TN; sister, Lorena McCray; brothers, Tommie Davenport and wife, Augustine of San Mateo, FL; Kenneth Davenport and wife, Shirley of Saltville, VA; sister-in-law, Linda Davenport of Meadowview, VA and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 11, 2016 in Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Bobby Wheeler officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Phipps, Harry Kilby, Danny Wright, Kenneth Morris and Barney Poe.
