Eddie Ross Spencer left this world, November 3, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona after a long hard battle with cancer and Dementia.

He was born March 1, 1949 to Ross J. Spencer and Dora Mae Spencer in Payson, Utah.

He was the second of six children.

In 1966, Eddie enlisted in the Army. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He loved his country.


He married the love of his life, Marnell Braithwaite Spencer on February 6, 1970 and together they shared the best of life, including their birth of their children, Clinton Eddie and Shana Leigh.

Eddie was a professional carpet installer.

In 1987, Eddie and Marnell opened Spencer's Carpet and Tile, enjoying the many customers and friends the met.

He retired in 2014 due to his illness.

A true adventurous spirit with a love for boats, cars, motorcycles, and anything with a motor he could make go faster.

He enjoyed fishing, off-road racing and many other activities.

He was also the 1980 K Boat National Champion.


Eddie is survived by his wife,

children,

granddaughter,

Brooklyn Davis;

father,

Ross Spencer;

sisters,

Gayleine (Bill) Lund,

Sherrie (Vennie) Kraync,

Kathy Stimpson,

and Lori Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his mother;

brother,

Chris Spencer;

son-in-law,

Michael Allan Davis;

nephew Carter Benson.

He loved his family and friends.
It's difficult to sum up a life so full in just a few words.

Eddie always made friends wherever he went. He was a dreamer and an adventurer.

Thanks for all the memories.

Visitation will be at Larkin Sunset Garden Cemetery on November 11, 2016 at 11:00am with services to follow at 1:00pm.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
