Wilson (Bill, Willie) Thomas passed away after a long illness. He is survived by his daughters Kerstin Thomas Chan, Antonette Thomas, his stepdaughter Dawn George, his brother Jack Thomas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack M. Thomas Sr. and June H. Thomas and his brothers Richard and Kelly.

Bill was bright and enigmatic from the moment he was born. He engaged each day as an adventure and it was easy to be swept along by his charm. One always chased after him, sometimes losing sight, following in his shadow only to discover he was right behind you. His charismatic ways drew people to him. His friendships were passionate, running both hot and cold, but his love was always there. Sometimes his words didn't match his feelings. He was classically imperfect, often frustrating, but usually easy to forgive. We love you and will miss you.

More stories can be heard and told at a memorial to be held on Saturday, November 12 at 11 a.m., First Unitarian Church, 569 South 1300 East.
