"Deborah 'Debbie' Lynn Jones Barrett, 51, of Blacksburg, S.C., passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center in Gaffney.
Born Oct. 18, 1958, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late John Buren "Drum" Jones and Jeanette Lovelace Nance. She worked in the finishing department at Carolina Cotton Works.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee Jones and Lloyd Allen Jones.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip Jones of Kings Mountain, Matt Barrett and Jason Barrett both of Shelby; two daughters, Lisa Barrett and Karen Barrett both of Shelby; special friend Charles Hames; step children Chuck Hames, Chris Hames, Chase Hames and Chad Hames all of Blacksburg, SC; two sisters Diane Jones of Casar and Joanne Brookes of Kannapolis; and ten grandchildren."
