Cross, Sr. July 10, 1924 - Nov. 5, 2016 MIDWEST CITY Harry LaForce Cross, Sr., of Midwest City, OK, died Nov. 5, 2016, at Arbor House Assisted Living at the age of 92. Harry was born on July 10, 1924, in Pawhuska, OK to Harry and Levona Cross. He worked 26 years for the United States Air Force prior to retirement as a SMSGT. He was a veteran of WWII, the Berlin Airlift and the Korean Conflict. In retirement, he was a professional golfer and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Harry is survived by two sisters, Jean Kobs and Shirley Farrington; brother, Gary Cross; daughters, Bonnie Young and Liz Stephenson; sons, Richard Cross and Tom Cross; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mabel Miller; a brother, Leon Cross; wife, Mary Jane Cross; a daughter, Linda Elkins; and a son, Harry Cross Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City.
