DECATUR — Service for Mary “Louise” Cottingham, age 96, of Decatur, will be noon today, Nov. 8, 2016, at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery.

Mrs. Cottingham, who died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Decatur Health and Rehab, was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Morgan County, Alabama, to Thomas Jefferson Adcock and Elizabeth Estes Adcock.

Mrs. Cottingham was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Cottingham and daughter, Patricia Ann Cottingham.

She is survived by one son, Rickey Allen Cottingham and one daughter, Brenda Lucas, both of Decatur; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Dunn and Catherine Hames, both of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Corey Chambers, Kyle Compton, Russ Murphree, Jeff Chambers, Chris Stewart, and Jeff Spano.
