Memorial service for Diane Summers, 48, was held Friday at the Mililani Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane at a later date.
Miss Summers, who was born in Spokane, died Jan. 25 from cancer.
She graduated from University High School in 1968 and from Washington State University in 1972.
Miss Summers had been a lieutenant with the Honolulu Police Department for 22 years.
Survivors include her parents, Philip and Greta Summers; a sister, Lorie Sua of Albuquerque, N.M.; and a brother, Michael Summers of Spokane.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Honolulu Police Relief Association, 1537 Young St., Honolulu, HI 96814.
