Marion Eugene Schroeder, long time resident of Borger, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Meredith House in Pampa, Texas.

He was born December 16, 1930 in Carson County, Texas to Howard and Ethel Nixon (Bond) Schroeder. Marion and Lynda (Nicholas) Schroeder were married until her passing in 2014. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. Until his retirement, he was employed with the Texas Department of Transportation. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Borger.

Mr. Schroeder was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda and 2 brothers: Howard Jackson Schroeder and John Stephen Schroeder.

His survivors include: a brother Gerald Schroeder and wife Julie of Billings, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger.

Mr. Schroeder will lie in state at Brown Funeral Directors, Chapel of the Fountains, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
