Marcus was a student at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan where he was studying Drafting and Design Technology in his Junior year. On summer breaks Marcus would teach English to Hispanic and Arabic youth in a local church camp along with swimming and wrestling. In High School Marcus made varsity in his freshman year in wrestling and track. he was best in sprints and long-distance events.
Marcus attend Temple Baptist School until 9th grade and then to Lutheran High School in Westland, Michigan.
Marcus was loved by not only his Mother and Father but two Sister's Wanda Jo Bilbrey-Nolan and Deborah Lynn Bilbrey-Verzura an a brother Joseph Daniel Bilbrey and a host of nieces and nephews.
Marcus's life was so bright and fun and full of love to end so quickly. And even though our hearts are broken we know some day we will be together again. He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shell be with them; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, Neither shall there be mouring nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.___Rev. 21:3-4
Marcus was preceded in death by his grandfather Roy Cline Crowder and grandmother Bonnie May Metcalf-Crowder, grandfather Joseph Pierce and grandmother Lucy Threadgill-Pierce
