Joan A. (Delp) Baily 78 of Temple passed away on Sunday morning at the Rittenhouse after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Temple, she was a daughter of the late William and Magdalena Delp.

Before retiring, Joan was employed by Agere Technologies (Lucent and AT&T) for twenty years. Prior to that she worked for the County of Berks in the courthouse.

Joan was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was a member of Zion Spies Alsace Lutheran Church of Alsace Township.

She is survived by two daughters; Debra wife of Herman Acker, Reading; and Vicki Bagenstose of Temple. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Amy wife of Eric Rusak, one great granddaughter, Cadence and one great grandson, Dillon. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Selig of Morgantown. She was predeceased by three brothers; Earl, Elam, and "Bobby" and two sister, Edna and Doris.

Joan had a love of cats. She loved to travel (even kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland), and took many bus trips with friends to the casinos.

A memorial Celebration will be help on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Family will receive friends on Saturday 9:00 A.M. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joan's memory to: Cleft Palate Foundation, 1504 East Franklin Street, Suite 102, Chapel Hill, NC 27514-2820.
