Born in Perry Twp., Clarion Co., Pa. on June 4, 1926, she was daughter of the late George J. and Ethel M. Barger Kriebel.
She was married to Robert Walter Anthony who passed away Nov. 29, 1982.
Blanche was a lifelong and dedicated member of the Church of God, first at the former Dutch Hill church, and later at Park Hill Church of God at West Freedom. A Christian women, she was long affiliated with the Women of the Church of God.
In earlier years she worked with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Parker City VFD.
Surviving are two daughters: Kathy (Bill) Scheehle of Parker and Karen Peretin of Butler; one son: Walter L. (Randa) Anthony of Eldorado (Parker);
six grandchildren: Shelly Bowers, Michael and Mark Alworth, Emily Peretin, Beth Ann Marino, and Clinton Walter Anthony;
five great-grandchildren: Olivia Amy Marino, Braden and Taylor Alworth, and Lydia and Adalyn Bowers;
one great-great grandchild: Rowen James Alworth;
one daughter-in-law: Debbie Anthony-Cook; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to parents and husband, Blanche was preceded in death by a son, Sheldon Anthony on Nov. 14, 1984, a granddaughter: Amy Sue Anthony on Apr. 29, 1976, and five siblings: Leona Barger, Lou, Denny, Ivan, and Gary Kriebel.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday (Nov. 9th) at Park Hill Church of God, Lime Plant Rd., West Freedom (near Parker), where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Eric Mitchell, church pastor officiating. Private burial will be Monday, Nov. 7th at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery, preceding the funeral on Wednesday.
