Linda was born September 22, 1943, in Atmore, Alabama, to the late Eugene Columbus and Martha Jane "Janie" (Harris) Toler. Linda is predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Louise (Toler) Gates McFalls and Barbara Ann (Toler) Hohaus Trawick; and her brother, Thomas "Tommy" Eugene Toler.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, George West of Milton. Linda and George owned and operated “Happy Go Lucky” tour buses and enjoyed taking people to Biloxi, meeting many new friends along the way. She loved to play Bingo, and going to their camp in Michigan, playing cards and cookouts. Linda had a “big as life” smile and heart, and shared her love deeply with her true love and best friend, George.
Linda is also survived by her two daughters, Amy (Meadows) Sherman of Milton, and Lori (Meadows) (Todd) Vrcan of Colorado; one son, Wes (Lyn) Meadows of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Devin Sherman and Ramon Phelps; three step-children, George (Jennifer) West Jr. of Pensacola, Donald D. West of Milton, and Tamara West of Milton; seven step-grandchildren, Emily, Casey, AJ, Liberty, Kyler, Rose Marie, and Denny; and two great-grandchildren, Justice Charles and Haven Michelle Sherman.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., prior to the services. Burial will follow services at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
