GUYS, Tenn. -- A Celebration of Life Service for Casey Patrick Montgomery, 33, is set for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 at Chewalla Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Doyle and Bro. Merl Dixon officiating. Burial will be in the Olive Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Casey died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born September 25, 1983, in Corinth. He was a member of Chewalla Baptist Church, a 2001 graduate of McNairy Central High School. He worked 12 years on a river tow boat, working his way up to chief engineer, before recently starting his barbecue catering Co. Casey was a Mason, an avid outdoorsmen, a professional hunter for Rolling Thunder Duck Calls and one of the best turkey hunters in the nation. He enjoyed collecting duck calls, rock collecting and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Leone Casey, and Pat and Helen Montgomery.
He is survived by his wife, Hannah Montgomery; his children, Kinsley, Cason and Eden Montgomery; his father and mother, Danny and Jeanie Montgomery; his sister, Christy Montgomery; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Cody Comer, Richard Mercer, Wes Harrison, J.D. Gray, James Kizer, Blake Jones, Clay Garner, Ryan Montgomery and Clay Talley.
Honorary pallbearers are Derrick Kuroda, Mason Harrison, Spencer Halford, Rob Groom, Barry Kiddy, Colton Kiddy, Coy Sullivan, Billy Bob Hopkins, Jason Young and Cedric Schnabl.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for his children at the bank of McNairy County - 610 Mulberry Ave Selmer, TN.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at Chewalla Baptist Church.
