Ladena, nee Baugh Deppe, age 95, of Leesburg, Florida, born on July 31, 1921, in Eldorado, Illinois died on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Leesburg, Florida. She was the daughter of William Earl & Lena L. nee Wert Baugh.
On Sunday, June 5, 1938 she married Norman George Deppe at the Methodist Episcopal Church in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois. She moved from Belleville, Michigan to Leesburg, Florida in 1957. She was a retired realtor and a member of Leesburg Board of Realty. She was a state officer of Florida State Realty Association, past president of Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Former City Commissioner - Town of Lady Lake, Realtor Advisory Board of Lake Sumter Community College, Administration Board member - Morrison United Methodist Church and Leesburg Business and Professional Women's club.
She is survived by sons Norman (Glenda) Deppe Jr. Of Leesburg, Terry (Beverly) Deppe of San Antonio, Texas, daughters Sandra (David) Dougherty of Leesburg and Judy Guiffrida of Leesburg; brother Roy (Alice) Baugh of Brownsburg, Indiana; sister Earline Brooks of Eustis, Florida and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ladena was preceded in death by husband Norman Deppe Sr., parents William Earl and Lena Baugh as well as great grandson Sean Baisden Jr. and brother Charles Baugh and his wife Mae Baugh.
