From the Austin Daily Herald, October 25, 1943:
Louis Ellingson, 56, died Sunday at 6 a.m. at his farm home five miles northwest of Adams following a stroke. Funeral arrangements are pending word from a brother in Seattle, and will be held in Little Cedar Lutheran church with Rev. A. Brievik officiating. Adams mortuary is in charge and burial will be in Little Cedar cemetery.
Mr. Ellingson was born Sept. 8 to Mr. and Mrs. Lars Ellingson at the farm home at which he died. He attended school in Adams and took over the farm with his brother, Carl, after his parents' death. He was an active member of Little Cedar Lutheran church.
He is survived by his brother, Carl, at home, a brother, Ed, of Ambrose N. D., a sister, Mrs. Mike Tiegen (Martha) of Ambrose, N. D. and a brother, John, of Seattle, Wash.
