Charles Dennis Hinton, age 85.

Deeply beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, went to his calling on Saturday, November 5, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Delois Hinton,

Son: Michael Hinton and wife Leslie,

Daughter: Pat Hinton Anderson and husband J.R.,

Grandchildren: Rayna Canedy and her husband Frank, Chad Anderson, Kim Anderson Walker and her husband Kyle

Great grandchildren: Renessa Canedy, Sage Anderson, Keziah and Kohen Walker. Charles was born in Quanah, Texas on August 28, 1931. He was the youngest of six and is

Preceded in death by his mother and father, Addie McCarty Hinton and Pascal T. Hinton, brothers, Forest Hinton, Elton (Buddy) Hinton, Bobby Hinton and sisters Virginia (Sister) Tribble and Beth Cothran.

Charles was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1949.

Charles and Delois met while co-workers at Butler Brothers and Married in August 1954. Charles continued his employment for many years with Butler Brothers/Ben Franklin 5 & 10.

After retirement he and Delois started their own party good business operating in Mesquite for over 10 years.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 5:00 pm til 8:00 pm at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home.
